On the second day of being "Star Student" you get to wear whatever clothes you want. (For those of you new to this blog- Kelly attends a Catholic school and wears a uniform each day so this was another big deal).
She chose her pink dress with little white hearts. I actually bought that for her last year to wear on Valentine's Day. She has a little pink owl hair clip in her hair that has a heart on it. Another Valentine gift from last year. It worked out that she was star student about a month before Valentine's Day, right?
After school we finished homework and then put together 3 Sofia The First puzzles (she is one of the latest Disney princesses) that Santa brought. Kelly LOVES puzzles and is very proud here.
Today she got to bring in a toy for "Show and Tell". She selected "Flappy"- a toy horse my sister bought her over the summer. Apparently Flappy has lost a lot of her glitter because of Aunt T. Sorry sis, that's what she said. She also brought along "Bella". Another toy horse that has her own carrying bag that looks like a dress. Of course it does.
Hey, remember this guy?
He had a check-up with his regular nephrologist today and all is well! Congrats! If you have read this blog at all, you know that is a kidney doctor. He goes back to the hospital next month for another check and then back to his regular nephrologist in March.
That's all for now. I need to go get the snacks ready for tomorrow.
